Hi, I am Cornelius and I have been a hairdresser and stylist for 27 years, and a make-up artist for 20 years. I began my career in the Netherlands where I owned a successful hair salon and I worked in Amsterdam on fashion shoots.
I’ve been in England for over 15 years and have established myself as a successful hair and make-up artist in the UK. For the past few years I found myself getting involved with fashion styling and art directing as well, both of which I very much enjoy.
My work is mainly based all over the UK for fashion, advertising, commercials and bridal work. I will travel abroad if required.
Although the majority of my work is with models, I have had the pleasure of working with celebrities such as Erin O’Connor, Leslie Ash, Sebastian Coe, Myleene Klass, Zoe Lucker, Kim Wilde, Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen.
Some of my clients include Vogue, Marie Claire, Pierre Balmain, Levis, Max Factor, CocaCola, Marks & Spencer, Neutragena, Bulgari, Barry M, Pantenne, TRESemme, Specsavers and various bridal brochures.
I keep up with the latest products and styles by attending various courses and shows. For hairdressing in my studio I prefer to use Organic Hair Care products.
For weddings I work as a mobile hair and make-up artist for the whole bridal party, travelling to the wedding venue or home address. I cover all of the UK as well as abroad.
My wife Caroline has retrained herself as a nail technician 10 years ago and is studio based in Wiltshire, and also does eyelash and eyebrow tinting. Together we are DoubleDutch.
